Course Overview
Scaffolding is widely used throughout the construction industry to provide temporary elevated work platforms. Improper assembly, inadequate inspections, unstable foundations, falling objects, and missing fall protection can result in serious injuries or fatalities. Understanding scaffold hazards and following established safety procedures are essential to protecting employees working on or around scaffolding systems.
First Coast Warehouse Safety Training’s Scaffolding Safety course introduces employees and supervisors to the principles of safe scaffold use and the requirements established under OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart L.

This course explains how scaffolding incidents occur, the importance of proper assembly and inspection, and the responsibilities of employers, employees, and competent persons in maintaining safe scaffolding operations.
