Course Overview
Falls are among the leading causes of serious injuries and fatalities in construction and general industry workplaces. Unprotected edges, elevated work platforms, ladders, scaffolding, and improperly used fall protection equipment can expose employees to significant hazards. Understanding fall hazards and implementing appropriate protective measures are essential to preventing workplace injuries and fatalities.
First Coast Warehouse Safety Training’s Fall Protection Safety course introduces employees and supervisors to the principles of fall hazard recognition, prevention, and the requirements established under OSHA’s General Industry and Construction fall protection standards.

This course explains how fall-related incidents occur, the importance of selecting appropriate fall protection systems, and the responsibilities of employers and employees in maintaining safe working conditions at elevated locations.
